A Pocopson Landscape
Pastel, 30" X 26"

I live in the township of Pocopson. It is named for the stream that flows through the village and the name came from an Indian word meaning "roaring waters". Pocopson creek is a tributary and flows into the Brandywine River about a mile from my home. I have enjoyed countless hours painting landscapes, hunting arrowheads and being a part of this historic township. This pastel represents just one of the many working farms that dot the area.
